On3World Source LLC operates AuthorQR and is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Email address when you create an account or join our waitlist
• Content you create using our tools (back-matter copy, descriptions, QR project data)
• Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Communications you send to us

We also collect information automatically when you use AuthorQR, including:

• QR code scan events (timestamp, approximate location, device type)
• Usage data (which tools you use and how often)
• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve AuthorQR
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you account-related emails (magic links, receipts, important notices)
• Track QR scan analytics on your behalf and display them in your dashboard
• Respond to your support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. AI Tool Data

When you use AuthorQR's AI tools, the content you enter (book titles, genres, hooks, etc.) is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. 4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the third-party services necessary to operate AuthorQR:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI content generation
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• ConvertKit — email marketing list management

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. QR Scan Data

When a reader scans a QR code you created through AuthorQR, we log the scan event including timestamp, approximate geographic region, and device type. This data is displayed in your analytics dashboard. Readers are not required to create accounts and their personal information is not collected through the scan process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial reasons.

7. Cookies

AuthorQR uses cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

AuthorQR is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at hello@authorqr.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and updating the effective date. Continued use of AuthorQR after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
